An error message appears which indicates that the Perceptor software has disconnected from the database.

An unstable network causes this error. The solution - alongside reviewing your local network stability - is to ensure Perceptor SQL server is separate to any shared SQL server.

Perceptor should have its own SQL server with its own resource.

This error may be seen as a result of a combination of the local network intermittently going down/missing packets and the SQL server being slow to respond.
