Preparation for setting up and running Perceptor IoT

  1. Complete the order on the Perceptor Reseller Portal. Log in is required. Please contact us if you have not received your welcome email with log in details.
  2. Lifetime Agreement is signed by both parties (reseller and end user) on the Reseller portal. Once this is completed, the software licence keys will be created.
  3. Register the Perceptor app on the end user's Entra ID.
  4. Create the Perceptor Users Group.
  5. End user makes a server/s available for the installation; depending on availability, two servers may be required - one as a SQL server and one as an Application server for the DataAPI and Management Console.
  6. App registrations and permissions are implemented on the end user's site.
  7. Installation of SQL and setup of IIS.

How are users added to Perceptor IoT?

  • Users are added to a Users Group in Entra ID.
  • The Entra ID can be customer’s own (preferred) or the Perceptor Cloud Entra ID.
