Just what is the Perceptor Cloud?
You've probably noticed that the Perceptor Knowledge Base URL includes the second level domain, Perceptor-Cloud - and if you've ever wondered what all the different parts of a URL are called, this great article is an easy read: Parts of a URL: A Short Guide (hubspot.com).
Our Perceptor Cloud is a lot more than some nicely named branding to help visitors know that they are in the right place for information about Perceptor. In fact, by utilising the Microsoft Entra ID (previously known as Azure AD) infrastructure, our Perceptor Cloud underpins everything we do to ensure Perceptor IoT is a secure and compliant product.
Perceptor IoT is securely accessed through Entra ID Single Sign On (SSO), an integral part of the Entra ID platform which helps us to provide products and solutions which comply with legal and regulatory standards on a global basis. This is especially important for end users in compliance and regulated industries such as BioTech, Life Sciences, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical and US Defence.
