Pricing: what can affect our Perceptor IoT pricing?
**Please refer to your agreement for your licence and consumption charges.**
Perceptor Inspection Technologies Ltd reserves the right to adjust pricing in line with Microsoft Azure price changes.
Perceptor has invested in the Azure platform and developed Perceptor IoT exclusively on Azure to underpin our data confidentiality, integrity and availability. End users of Perceptor IoT who choose a Subscription licence automatically benefit from all the efficiencies and on-going innovations that Azure brings.

Pricing: how is pricing for Perceptor IoT determined after a Proof Of Concept project?
Perceptor IoT pricing is always at the prevailing rate:
- at the time of contract supply discussions
- at the annual anniversary of a subscription
- at the annual anniversary of an annual support contract (Lifetime licence).
Subscription: what does our Perceptor Subscription include?
Please refer to your individual Perceptor IoT licence agreement for specific details. However, the following indicates what is included as standard plus optional extras:

Azure SQL 2Gb database - standard S0 tier

1 x Production environment

Primary and secondary regions with automatic failover

Data retention in Azure SQL database - 35-day default

MS Defender AV and threat monitoring

Perceptor Management Console

Support response guaranteed (response service level dependent on software plan)

Billing in GBP, Euro, USD or SGD
Optional add ons
The following can be applied to any Subscription:

7-year data backup plan

30-year data backup plan

Additional environments (each with its own Azure SQL/DataAPI/Management Console)

SOC Ops Security Operation Center w/Sentinel threat monitoring
Standard terms

No onboarding fees for new or renewing subscription contracts.

All subscriptions are paid in advance – choose to pay monthly, quarterly or annually.

All subscriptions require a consumption allowance to be paid in advance. Consumption can be shared across multiple systems globally. Consumption covers your Azure platform costs.

A consumption unit is an inspected label – whether it passes or fails your inspection criteria - recorded in the database.

Consumption does not expire so you can take advantage of lower unit label costs by purchasing additional units for future use.

Once all the consumption units have been used then more will need to be purchased to continue using your subscription. There is a discretionary grace period to ensure your service is not disrupted – once they have been consumed, if additional units have not been purchased, Perceptor IoT will be unavailable to use.

All subscriptions are subject to the acceptance and signing of a Subscription Agreement with Perceptor Inspection Technologies Ltd.
