FAQs: System requirements

If you are purchasing new Zebra ZT610 or ZT 620 printers, your reseller will supply the printer and the firmware required.  The firmware has its own SKU/part number so that it can be ordered as a distinct item if existing Zebra printers are to be upgraded for use with Perceptor IoT.

The firmware will then be installed during implementation of Perceptor IoT.

Yes - an indicator light is currently in use with the TSC Printronix T6000 and T8000 printers. This is useful for operations where staff may not be present consistently at the printer or maybe in a large, noisy warehouse.

This solution can also be made available for the ZT600 series printers.

All Perceptor IoT systems are sold with our IoT device which is pre-installed with a single board PC running Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC.

It has a 7" touchscreen so it can be run fully just with the touch.

If desired, a monitor, keyboard and mouse can be plugged in so the solution can be run from both a desktop User Interface or switch to the 7" touch. 

No. Perceptor IoT runs on the IoT Device which is a single board PC Win 10 IOT Enterprise LTSC with an integral 7” touchscreen.

If operators find it easier to work from a larger screen, the Perceptor IoT Device can be connected to a monitor, keyboard and mouse to run from the full UI.
